Añadir al carritoFirst edition. viii, 176 pages. Paperback; H 16.75cm x L 12cm. Dark green stiff paper covers rubbed with some light stains, mild surface scuffing to spine paper and rear cover, shallow chipping at spine ends with small chip at bottom left corner of front cover, paste-on b/w photographic image on front cover chipped and well soil…ed, negligible paper loss at corners with top corner of front cover creased. Edges soiled; soiling to preliminary and terminal leaves with light to mild foxing upon interior pages. Binding remains firm. Not designed as a guidebook per se in the manner of Baedeker or Murray but rather offers a brief review of local history and towns; specifically the text features a Preface, historical sketch (pages 1-62), genealogical tables, and geographical sketch followed by sections regarding Munich, Landshut, Augsburg, Bamberg, Bayreuth, Wurzburg, Nurnberg, Regensburg, Rothenburg, Speyer, and the mountain and lake district, and concludes with "Art and Science" and "Sport." No maps or illustrations amongst text. A second edition was published in 1922. A good copy.
