Taschenbuch. Condición: Neu. Neuware - Being a holy deacon is more than fulfilling the scriptural qualifications of a deacon. It is walking and serving in a higher capacity. This book shares the qualities and characteristics of what makes a deacon, a holy deacon, stand out from those who merely serve a position. People often 'assume' if one is qualified, that somehow, they will become a good deacon. This is not necessarily true. Do you think a school or business would allow a person to teach or lead without having some form of training Of course not! Churches should be no different. A little planning can go a long way to create successful outcomes!Too many churches never provide training or guidelines for their deacons and yet wonder why their boards seem dysfunctional at times. Pastors now have a book and outline for teaching their deacons and at the same time, be able to share his/her vision for the church. This book attempts to provide the tools necessary to become a great deacon. Case studies are included. Each case study are true stories of how deacons handled difficult church situations. A PowerPoint Presentation link is also included for teaching purposes. I pray that this book will be a blessing and encouragement for you as you serve one of the most important roles of the church. May God bless and give you wisdom as you serve this precious calling. Jim Fuller is the founder and Executive Director of Pastoral Care, Inc., one of the largest ministries for pastors and churches in America. Jim is minister, licensed professional counselor, author, and has served on church boards for over 45 years. Jim brings a practical and direct approach to be the very best deacon one could be, a holy deacon, one which can be used for the Kingdom of God.…
