Paperback. Condición: new. Paperback. Shauna grew up in a tumultuous home. Divorce was threatened all the time, although her parents would remain married for over 40 years. She endured her own marriage and then divorce, physical, verbal and emotional abuse from men, an eating disorder, and fertility issues that would never result in being able to have a biological child. Growing up with her grandfather, a Pentecostal preacher, faith was a huge part of her life. But that same faith would also bring with it much judgment. Shauna came to realize there are so many hurting people out there who have dealt with trauma, who feel alone, and who, like her, felt like they were not enough. She knew she had a voice that could encourage others. She wanted to let them know they too could make it! This book came out of a blog that Shauna started in some dark days back in 2018. With each new post, she would hear from people about how much it helped them, and how encouraged they were by her insights and her shared story. Now, having reached a place of peace, hope, and confidence, the mission became about helping other people come out of their pain and finally find their own joy. Today, Shauna lives in Bloomington, Indiana with her husband Chad. She has two stepchildren. She has finally found joy and she knows that she is enough. Sometimes our messes produce a message. Shauna is thankful to have the opportunity to share that message with others. This item is printed on demand.
