As she faces challenges and falls in love, Aisling becomes a fearless and self-assured woman.'Aisling; In The Land Of Wolves' is the first book in an epic trilogy that will take you on a journey of self-discovery and empowerment. Here is what's being said by Reader's Favorite:Reviewed by K.C. Finn for Readers' Favorite (5 STARS).Author Eileen Sheehan really takes her central protagonist on a deeply emotional journey in this novel, and it's that intense investment in Aisling's personal growth that will keep readers coming back for more as each action-packed chapter challenges her to grow and develop in new and unexpected ways. I really appreciated the author's craft when it comes to speech and thought presentation, as the up-close narrative lets us get a deeper sense of what's going on in Aisling's head and heart as she falls in love, discovers her own powers and becomes a newly-empowered version of her former self. The description of witchcraft and the magical elements of the story were also very cinematically realized and exciting to read about. Overall, I would definitely recommend Aisling: In the Land of Wolves as a promising start to an enthralling fantasy trilogy and I can't wait to see what happens next.Reviewed by Stephanie Chapman for Readers' Favorite (5 Stars)Eileen Sheehan built suspense in several areas with Aisling, whose definition of mean girls was equivalent to real high school cliques. The first-person narration gave a clear view of what went through Aisling's mind with each new challenge. I share Aisling's view that her mother's fixation with witchcraft left her vulnerable and neglected. The smooth transitions from one event to another were easy to follow and provided a basic timeline. The details were vivid, especially with the surroundings in the forest. I could imagine the lush foliage and walking along the paths winding through the trees. The detailed descriptions of the different mythical creatures were fascinating. The end of the story left a clear opening for a sequel. Magic and character progression make Aisling a great read for fantasy fans.Reviewed by Alma Boucher for Readers' Favorite (5 Stars). Aisling: In the Land of Wolves was complex and exciting. Eileen Sheehan intertwined romance and the paranormal. I was hooked from the first page. It was easy to be part of the world of magic, love, and danger that was created. The story was fast-paced and packed with action. With all the twists and turns, I never knew what would happen next. Some of the events were graphic and violent. The suspense kept me on the edge of my seat. The role-players were well-developed and authentic. My favorite character was Aisling. She started as a teenager who was bullied and became a fearless and self-assured woman. The story was brilliantly written, and it exceeded my expectations by far.…
