This work is important to share because in writing these poems, she starts to become more self-aware of the scars she carries and that impacts what happens next. This capstone is a poetry book that expresses my understanding of the expressions of her experience. This assignment has helped me accept that I am a survivor, too.Sincerely,Evelyn Freeman.…
