A quasi-experime…ntal, non-randomized pretest-post-test control group design was adopted. The population comprised all SSS II Agricultural Science students, while a sample of 145 students was used. Data were collected using the Agricultural Science Achievement Test (ASAT), validated and tested for reliability using KR-21, which yielded a coefficient of 0.79. Mean and standard deviation were used to answer research questions, while ANCOVA tested the hypotheses at 0.05 significance level. Findings revealed a significant difference in achievement between students taught using inquiry strategy and those taught using lecture method (p 52 pp. Englisch.
