Neuware -The research was aimed at discovering the use of Peer-Assisted Learning Strategies (PALS) as learning strategies for improving students' reading comprehension ability, and the students' responses to the use of Peer-Assisted Learning Strategies (PALS) as learning strategies. The learning strategies in this research is Peer-Assisted Learning Strategies (PALS) and the students in this research are second grade senior high school students. The both qualitative and quantitative method was delivered in order to collect the data with test, observation, and questionnaire as the instruments of the research. It was believed by applying Peer-Assisted Learning Strategies (PALS), the teacher is able to enhance students' reading comprehension ability. It can be proved that there is significantly development in the result of the students from the Pre-Test to 2nd Cycle Post-Test.
