Against this backdrop, this paper presents the development of a reconfigurable frequency selective surface based on the four-arm star geometry for application in the 2400-2483.5 MHz band of the IEEE 802.11b/g/n (Wi-Fi) and IEEE 802.15 (Bluetooth) standards. The PIN diode was used as the switching element.
