In order to reduce the side collision in heavy vehicles we have come up with the solution called Blind spot Detection. This system will be working on the principle of ultrasonic making the driver alert by the technology of haptic- touch. This kind of Haptic-touch gives a kind of feeling in the hand while holding the steering system. So that the driver made to alert that there is a vehicle in blind spot area without get distracted by seeing the rear-view mirror. This system is monitored and triggered by a sensor based electronic system that monitors for obstacles and instantly alerts the controller circuit which then operates the micro vibrator. Finally, the outcome is that the steering wheel will vibrate invoked with haptic-touch and so the driver can understand the presence of vehicle in blind spot without losing the concentration on the road. 60 pp. Englisch.
