As we all know poor glycemic control further worsens the periodontal status which further increases the morbidity. Therefore, the need of the present clinical research was to assess whether soft tissue diode laser therapy, when used as an adjunct to non-surgical periodontal therapy, leads to a better improvement in glycemic index(HbA1c) in type 2 Diabetes Mellitus patients affected with Chronic Periodontitis. 112 pp. Englisch.
