Taschenbuch. Condición: Neu. nach der Bestellung gedruckt Neuware - Printed after ordering - In the this book, different airborne and ground geophysical studies have been carried out in Abu Nimran area in order to evaluate the surface mineral showings and to detect any subsurface extensions for this mineralization. The geophysical methods included airborne and ground radiometric data, ground magnetic and electromagnetic measurements. This study tried, in an indirect way, to find a relation between the radiometric anomalies and the occurrence of copper minerlaization either surface or subsurface. The study started by the analysis and interpretation of the airborne radiometric map. Statistical analysis have been done where a number of radioactive anomalies were delineated. There after, these anomalies were surveyed by ground gamma ray spectrometric measurements, VLF-EM & Turam electromagnetic methods and total magnetic & vertical gradient magnetic Techniques. Processing and interpretation of the obtained data have confirmed the effectiveness of the radiometric techniques, either ground or airborne, in following the occurrences of copper mineralization.A number of subsurface copper bodies has been detected very close to the surface radiometric anomalies.…
