The book studies problems related with frequency and voltage regulation of microgrid generation units, as well as optimal load shedding decisions for balancing local power generation and load. The control algorithms presented in this book are tested and compared with classic control techniques and open-loop operating conditions in order to evaluate the performance improvement achieved with the use of these control strategies. 168 pp. Englisch.
