The tales are funny, meaningful and above all - real! Each of the stories has a base in something that has happened in our family. There may be a little exaggeration at some points. The stories are written to be shared and to give parents and teachers a platform to discuss the issues that children can really struggle with. Friendship, peer pressure and the difficult task of getting along with people. Even ones you don't really like all that much! Sally and Crumble go through the stories making choices. Some good - some not so good! I was keen to write using my experience as a teacher and an specialist in social- emotional work with children aged 4 to 11. I hope that 'Crumble Tales' is fun to share and helps your children to think about the common worries of school and being 'nearly nine' in different ways. Also - just to clarify.
