Paperback. Condición: new. Paperback. Rose and Rita's Journey is about two little girl marmosets, the smallest of the monkey species. They have lovely, long tails and tufts of fur on their heads. A fire in the rain forest destroys their homes and sends them on a desperate journey to find their troops. Rose had left her nest for some lovely fruit. When their parents and siblings and friends flee the fire without them, Rose knows she must look after her younger cousin, Rita. Each chapter is another adventure. Through many mishaps and help from Mam and Dad, their human friends, they ultimately reach Prairie Park Zoo in the Midwest. Happiness greets them when they find the missing troops already there. Everything ends well--until the next book. This item is printed on demand. Shipping may be from our UK warehouse or from our Australian or US warehouses, depending on stock availability.
