He has held appointments as Assistant Professor of Anesthesiology at the University of Virginia Medical School, Clinical Associate Professor of Internal Medicine at the College of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (Newark), and Clinical Assistant Professor of Surgery (Anesthesiology) at Rutgers. He has authored a number of peer-reviewed articles for medical journals, and has written several chapters on sports injuries in a popular text on baseball pitching.
