Paperback. Condición: New. Print on Demand. This book, a compilation established for the US Navy, may prove itself a convenient handbook for officers and enlisted men alike. This comprehensive collection of provisions was carefully compiled despite numerous difficulties and after-hours work. The organization of the text is structured not with complete thoroughness, but will nonetheless enable sailors to readily find needed sections with the help of an alphabetical index at the end of the book. Citations from the Statutes at Large are also provided for each section, along with references to opinions and decisions not cited as authorities for action or decision on any case, but rather as background information. Words in italics within certain sections have been included to conform to existing law, while headings have been supplied in some instances. While much of the information provided was valuable to many in 1875, the author deemed it unnecessary for those whom this book was intended to serve, omitting such sections from this edition. This book is a reproduction of an important historical work, digitally reconstructed using state-of-the-art technology to preserve the original format. In rare cases, an imperfection in the original, such as a blemish or missing page, may be replicated in the book. print-on-demand item.…
