This book delves into the captivating realm of secret sects in Syria and the Lebanon, exploring their origins, belief systems, rituals, and the intriguing connections they may have with Freemasonry. The author contends that Freemasonry's roots extend far beyond its commonly recognized beginnings, reaching back to ancient Middle Eastern traditions that have thrived for millennia. By examining groups such as the Druids, Manicheans, Gnostics, Essenes, Sufis, and various Dervish orders, the author unveils a rich tapestry of interconnected mystical practices and esoteric knowledge. The book delves into the shared symbolism, initiation rites, and core beliefs that link these diverse groups, suggesting a common ancestral heritage that has profoundly influenced Freemasonry. Central to this exploration is the concept of a "Stellar Cult" ââ â a prehistoric system of worship centered on celestial bodies, particularly the Pole Star. The author traces the transmission of this ancient wisdom through Phoenician merchants, the Knights Templar, and other historical figures, arguing that it forms the foundation of modern Freemasonry. Through meticulous research and a comparative analysis of rituals, symbols, and historical accounts, this book challenges conventional understandings of Freemasonry's origins and invites readers to consider the profound influence of ancient Middle Eastern traditions on Western esoteric thought. It sheds light on the enduring legacy of these secret sects, revealing their profound impact on the development of spiritual and philosophical ideas that continue to resonate in the present day.
