His book Hitler, the Allies, and the Jews received the Israeli Political Science Association Award for an outstanding book in English and the Sybil Milton Prize of the German Studies Association for outstanding work on the Holocaust. This work addresses David Ben-Gurion, the Yom Kippur War, Shuttle Diplomacy, the Sinai 2 Agreement, and Menachem Begin's electoral victory.
