Bitter because the moments of reoccurring symptoms are filled with tremendous concern and worry, but sweet as a reminder that it is important to serve the one and only true God for no time is promised to any of us. I will always thank the Lord for this has allowed me to understand the importance of Walking Away From Yesterday. The sin we willingly commit daily must be cut from our hearts so we can see the importance in serving the Lord. My mission since then is to minister in music and writing, and share what the Lord God has done in my life. I desire to decrease while he increases, and share his Word for he is the only way to salvation. My goal is to share and minister with all youth and adults from all over the world that God is first. I wish to see every youth as faithful servants to Jesus Christ for tomorrow is not promised but eternity in heaven is promised for all those who accept Jesus as Lord and Savior.

After retiring from the Mission, Bob and I worked with troubled children at the Advent Christian Village in Dowling Park, Florida for 7 years. When they discontinued that part of the ministry, we went into business for several years, selling antiques and craft supplies. We have been retired for many years now, and just two years ago (2006) our children surprised us by inviting many friends and family for our 50th anniversary where they presented us with a cruise to Alaska. We continue to stay busy with church, working part time decorating mobile homes for Steve, and volunteering at a youth camp in North Carolina, and attending as many of the family functions as possible. We still love being together with family for birthdays, holidays and those special events as the grandchildren are involved in more and more activities.
