Compiled and updated from the Floyd Clymer book titled 'Handbook of Imported Carburetors & Fuel Injection', this publication is specific to the 45 DCOE, 40 DCOE, 26 IMB, 22 IM, 26 IM, 28 ICP, 28 ICI, 32 IMPE, 36 DCD and 28/36 DCD series of Weber carburetors. Obviously, in addition to Alfa Romeo and Fiat automobiles, much of the information in this publication will be applicable to other vehicles that are equipped with similar Weber carburetion systems. Therefore, we believe this book is an important addition to any enthusiast's library and will help keep their Weber equipped automobiles in top operating condition. The book is split into two main sections, the first section deals with the 'Theory and Practice' of this series of Weber carburetors, the second section focuses on the installation, tune up and maintenance of Weber carburetors as fitted to the Alfa Romeo Giulia 1600 models, including the TI Super and Sprint GT Sedan, the 1600 Spider, Veloce and GT and the Fiat 500, 600, 1100, 1200 and 1500 Cabriolet. Añadir al carritoTaschenbuch. Condición: Neu. Neuware - Originally published in 1949 by Floyd Clymer, this edition was republished in 2010 by VelocePress. This comprehensive and informative book, written in easy to understand language, puts the capability of designing and building a 1950's era midget racing car or a three-quarter (dirt track) car within reach of the home-based enthusiast. The fundamental principles described in this book may also be applied to the construction of a 50's track roadster or even a custom built hot rod. Highly technical terminology and engineering terms have been avoided, as the aim of this book is to define the construction process in clear and understandable terms, regardless of the reader's technical background or training. The principles it contains are just as relevant today as they were some 50 years ago when this book was first written. The design process is clearly explained, the raw materials required are described, and the construction process is presented in an easy-to-follow step by step procedure. Obviously, this book would also be a valuable reference for anyone contemplating repairing, refurbishing or restoring a vintage racing car. This edition also includes a 38 page bonus section featuring a reproduction of an appropriate Offenhauser Speed Equipment catalog. Out-of-print and unavailable for many years, this book is becoming increasingly more difficult to find on the secondary market and we are pleased to be able to offer this reproduction as a service to all those vintage automotive race car builders and enthusiasts worldwide.

This revised and updated re-print of our previous 2008 edition includes complete technical data, and detailed instructions for the service, repair and overhaul of the major mechanical and electrical components for the 150cc X0. 250cc B1, B2, B18, B20, B21, B22, C10, C11. 350cc B23, B24, B25, B26, M19, R4, R5, R17, R19, R20. 500cc J12, M20, M22, M23, M24, Q7, Q8, Q21, W6. 600cc M10, M21. 750cc Y13 and the 1,000cc G14 Pre-WW2 Single and Twin-Cylinder SV and OHV Motorcycles. A GUIDE TO THE VARIOUS 'BOOK OF THE BSA' EDITIONS FOR OWNERS OF PRE-WW2 MODELS THROUGH 1939 The 2nd edition (published 1926) provides detailed coverage on the 2.49HP through 9.86HP models up to 1926 with some of those models dating back as far as 1914. This edition includes a 1927 supplement that provides data on the first year 'Sloper' model. As the 'Sloper' models are highly regarded and collectible the VelocePress reprint (ISBN 9781588501790) of the 2nd edition is considered to be a significant publication for BSA models built prior to 1927. The 4th edition (published 1930) covers the 174cc to 986cc A, B, E, G, H, L and S (Sloper) models up to 1930 and it was the first edition to identify the different BSA models by the use of the alpha series designation. Once again some of those models date back to 1914 making the VelocePress reprint (ISBN 9781588502308) of the 4th edition of most use to owners of the early A, B, E, G, H, L and S models. With the publication of the 6th (1933) and 7th edition (1935), model coverage changed to include the 149cc to 986cc B, G, J, M, R, W and X models. The 7th edition included a 1936 supplement and was also the last edition to include the J, R, W and X models as they were eliminated from the 8th edition. Therefore, the VelocePress reprint (ISBN 9781588501868) of the 7th edition is of most use to owners of the B, G, J, M, R, W and X models up to, and including, 1936. The 8th edition, (published 1937) eliminated all of the data for the earlier models prior to 1936 and the contents were specific to the 1937 models only. Due to its narrow focus, it is likely to be of the least use to owners of pre 1937 models. The 9th edition published in 1939 made up for the lack of information in the 8th edition and it is the only edition specific to the entire line of BSA models manufactured from 1936 through 1939 prior to the onset of WW2 including the B, C, G, J, M, Q, R, W, X & Y models. The 10th, 11th and 12th editions published after the end of WW2 were just a reprint of the 9th edition with the addition of a 50 page 'supplement' covering the post-war models. This supplemental information is of little use to owners of the pre-war models. Therefore, as the 8th edition did not include information on the J, R, W and X models the VelocePress reprint (ISBN 9781588502315) of the 9th edition is of the most use to owners of the 1936 to 1939 B, C, G, J, M, Q, R, W, X & Y models.
