Dies ist der lateinische Begriff, den man in der früheren Pastoraltheologie als Terminus für Seelsorge verwendete. Das übliche Bedeutungsspektrum des Wortes Seelsorge umfasst nicht dasselbe w…ie der unübliche Ausdruck Sorge für die Seele. Unter Seelsorge wird gemeinhin ein spezifisch pastorales Geschehen verstanden, meist in Verbindung mit einem kirchlichen Amt. Die so verstandene Seelsorge ist eine Teilmenge der Sorge für die Seelen, sofern wir den Ausdruck buchstäblich nehmen. Im heutigen Sprachgebrauch eignet sich vielleicht die Bezeichnung Lebensberatung am besten als Überbegriff, um einigermaßen die verschiedenen Felder der Sorge für die Seele wie Psychotherapie, Paar- und Familientherapie, ärztliche, psychologische, soziale und pädagogische Beratung, Mediation, Psychoedukation, Krisenintervention, Trauerbegleitung, verschiedene Gruppenmodelle, herkömmliche Formen der Seelsorge und was noch genannt werden mag, zu subsumieren. Die Sorge für die Menschen, deren Seele Hilfe braucht, kann umso besser gelingen, je stärker die Gemeinsamkeiten dieser vielen Wege wahrgenommen und gepflegt und je bewusster die inhaltlichen und methodischen Unterschiede als Bereicherung, Ergänzung und Vertiefung der jeweiligen Einseitigkeiten gesehen und aufgenommen werden. Wenn das unter dem Vorzeichen des Christlichen geschieht, können auf diesem Weg wertvolle Synergien und Verschmelzungen von Ansätzen der Seelsorge im engeren Sinn und solchen aus dem weiten Feld der allgemeinen Sorge für die Seele resultieren. Und wenn es zudem unter Verzicht auf konfessionelle Engführungen geschieht, kann sich Bereicherung, Ergänzung und Vertiefung auch durch die Interaktion der unterschiedlichen Glaubenssysteme ereignen: Aufeinander hören und voneinander lernen, um miteinander als Kirche weiterzukommen. Diesen anspruchsvollen, aber lohnenden Zielen soll die Zeitschrift Cura animarum dienen. Sie sei ein freies Forum auf gutem wissenschaftlichen Niveau. 64 pp. Deutsch.

Understanding of managers' career anchors will provide organisations with the ability to design an effective career path options that will match individual managers' career needs with organisational needs. This will increase the contribution of managers and commitment to their organisations as well as improve managerial retention. Through a case study of eight small third sector social enterprise organisations, this work explores the relationship between the career anchors of operational managers and their career path preferences. It was identified that third sector operational manager's career path preferences are influenced by public policy, organisational factors and individual career needs. The findings make an important contribution in the field of managerial career paths management in small third sector organisations and through exploring operational managers' career anchors which are not linked to individual monetary needs. 236 pp. Englisch.
