Thus, Rites of Passage: Ceremonial Textiles of the Indonesian Archipelago from the collection of Mary Hunt Kahlenberg has been selected as our fourth exhibition in this first year of our new museum. It is also our first exhibition to travel throughout the United States. In order to develop exhibitions of broad universal appeal, it is our policy to utilize both museum and private collections of members and friends of the museum.
