Neuware -The creation of university websites and the use of the internet as new marketing communications tools between Universities and Students are rapidly gaining popularity in the higher educational sector in Cameroon. This study on the digitization of communications between the University and its… students has as main objective to examine the admissions worries that the creation of the university website has solved; with subsidiary motives being students¿ satisfaction with the online registration; and the role played by radio slots in harnessing goodwill. An analogue CSSQ tool was used to gather data which were presented on frequency tables, and the analysis done using simple descriptive statistical tools. In our findings, we observed that the creation of the university website has satisfied admissions worries faced by students at the University of Buea; the online registration has made the registration process more satisfactory; and radio slots contribute in building the goodwill of a higher educational institution. We recommend the website/internet to be used as the prime communications medium between students and the university, with frequent updating of the website.

Furthermore, it will look at the interac…tion effects of the organizational culture of the supplier. The research question answered is: 'How do outcome based contracts affect the effectiveness of a motivational mechanism (a channel incentives program) ' The sub-question of this thesis is: 'How do different types of organizational culture of the supplier company affect the relationship between outcome based contracts and the firm performance ' The research has found no significant effects regarding these hypotheses. The academic relevance of this paper lies in the perspective of this research. Where prior literature has focused mainly on the reseller side of the relationship, this thesis looks at the suppliers' end. This paper is valuable to managers since it provides a new methodology for examining competitor's organizational culture, and its results have revealed potential opportunities in the industry.

Over 40 official government texts have been analyzed, resulting in the isolation of certain verbal triggers that serve to elucidate the securitizing moves of the government, and American public acceptance of the securitization. It emerges that securitization, cocooned in sanitizing discourse, enabled the government to make sordid practices seem clean. Buttressed by teachings of political psychology, the second half of the book is devoted to examining how this obfuscation facilitated moral disengagement in the American public, which allowed for a successful securitization. 76 pp. Englisch.

The increase in the volume of lost blood, as well…as an increase in the duration of apnea and hand vessels occlusion, increases hypothermia and local hypothermia area in fingers, which is consistently expanding first to the entire distal phalanx, and then to the middle phalanx of each finger. Growing local hypothermia and expansion of its area in fingers are suggested to use as a diagnostic symptom for increased hypoxia, all other conditions being equal. Therefore, diverse changes in local temperature in exposed fingers after the use of shortened cuff occlusion test (i.e. decrease in the local temperature at the beginning and its increase later) are suggested to be considered as a diagnostic symptom of availability of reserves for adaptation to hypoxia. This diverse change in local temperature in finger pads in a patient after acute massive blood loss allows us to conclude that he has sufficient reserves for adaptation to acute hypoxia and predict high probability of his survival. 60 pp. Englisch.

The time period I have focused my studies is 1588 to 1625: 1588 marked the first post-Tridentine canonization, as well…as Sixtus V's formation of the Congregation of Rites and Ceremonies; 1625 marked the first of Urban VIII's decrees that formed the long, judicial and centralized process of saint-making that is essentially still in effect today. The only women canonized within this time frame were Santa Francesca Romana in 1608, Saint Teresa of Ávila in 1622 and Elisabeth of Portugal in 1625. I examine these three new saints through text and engravings that relate to their canonization in Rome, and assess the ways in which these women act as representatives of the Counter-Reformation Church. In order to properly contextualize the history of these women's canonizations, I look at the patrons of their canonization ceremonies, the temporary structures erected inside Saint Peter's for the events, and finally the contemporary campaign for canonization of Ludovica Albertoni who, while beatified in 1671, was ultimately unsuccessful in achieving official sainthood. 80 pp. Englisch.
