Provided methodology and practical guidelines for logo colour design, and the impacts of culture on logos colour pr…eference. The study of comparisons indicated that the most frequently used logo colour for both UK and Japan companies was blue, followed by white, red and black, whereas the least frequently used colour was brown. Red and black were more frequently used for logos in Japan than in the UK, white was more frequently used in the UK than in Japan. The psychophysical experiments provided an evidence that logo colour was strongly associated with industrial sector and with semantic meaning. Furthermore, new guidelines for logo colour design were developed to consider the relationships between colour, semantic meaning and industrial sector.

Quantitative analy…sis using chi-square test, odds ratio and 95% confidence interval were used to describe associations between variables from the sample gathered using the snow ball technique. A major high risk profile for HIV/AIDS among Myanmar migrants emerged within the study, the undereducated 25-29 year old blue collar worker with moderate knowledge of HIV/AIDS. Associations between socio-demographic factors, HIV/AIDS knowledge and the risk behaviors: visiting sex workers, alcohol consumption and drug use were analyzed and presented in this particular study. Based on the risk behaviors studied, the author recommends behavior change intervention in the form of increased access to health education among migrants and that further reaffirmation of this study s findings be conducted through a broader longitudinal study on sexual attitudes and behavior of migrants. 80 pp. Englisch.

This work problematises the situation in the former commercial farms, and argues that, the crisis was intrinsic in the jambanja process, and the subsequent state incapacity to offer post-settlement support to the new landholders. Using ethnographic data from three resettlement farms in uMguza District, it argues that jambanja gave birth to subsistence landholders in commercial farming zones.These landholders were not farmers but they fulfilled a political objective for the government, which later abandoned them without any post-settlement support. Without state support, the new landholders failed the transition from a traditional agricultural system to commercial orientated production, resulting in their falling back on the agricultural system they knew best.Resettlement also interfered with traditional institutions, which have long informed African farming practices. 76 pp. Englisch.

The analysis output indicates that companies focused on tangible investments tend to have poor performance in the short run. In addition, small firms outperform large companies in growth opportunities and are considered to be more flexible in strategic choices. Furthermore, higher leveraged firms are discovered to improve their performance by aggressive financing of their business with debt. However, no evidence on the gross value-added impact on the firm s business success has been obtained. Problems such as the language issue need to be looked at by all stakeholders who are responsible for preparing information materials. More programmes on HIV/AIDS are needed on radios and NBC television in local languages. Stigma and discrimination need to be addressed seriously from all levels of society. This will enable PLWHA to live positively. Poverty was also identified as a barrier to living positively with HIV/AIDS. It is, therefore, recommended that specific programmes/projects need to be developed to reduce poverty among PLWHA. The method to perform the analysis is a direct comparison of both routes across three dimensions: general factors, t…echnology, and probability of detection using intelligence collection means. Three conclusions are derived from the analysis. First, using uranium enrichment to produce fissile material requires less time, fewer steps, and is less expensive than using plutonium production to produce fissile material. Second, technology availability and complexity have been the main barriers for states to acquire significant quantities of fissile material. Third, the uranium enrichment route is less detectable than the plutonium production route by modern intelligence collection means. The conclusions derived from the analysis imply that if a state were to choose between uranium enrichment and plutonium production for fissile material acquisition today, it will likely choose the uranium enrichment. Policy recommendations are developed to ensure that uranium enrichment route is addressed properly in the light of the anticipated nuclear renaissance. 76 pp. Englisch.
