Regular soil erosion from the watershed of the Lake resulted in the deposition of sediments further reduction in its capacity. In this study soil erosion from watershed has been assessed utilizing Universal soil loss equation and USPED model and the sediments deposited in the lake had been evaluated using satellite image analysis. The sedimentation occurring per year is 580000 m3 and the volume of soil deposited come out to be 355855 m3. From this we observe that sedimentation occurs due to soil erosion is around 69.8 %. Various Conservative measures have been also discussed. Drinking water supplied by Upper Lake Bhopal is 140000 m3 of water daily which is 40% of the total water supply in the city. If we can reduce the sedimentation in the Upper Lake it can fulfil the needs of the Local public.

Since 2018, there has been dissonance among CARICOM Member States regarding their diplomatic positions on the Venezuelan crisis. This dissertation analyses the variety of positions of selected CARICOM Member States through the lens of realism and constructivism to attempt to explain what factors are influencing the States in question. Some States have supported a strong CARICOM position while others have weakened CARICOM's collective position as an international organisation. The findings suggest that CARICOM provides a forum for states to affirm their Caribbean identity while ensuring mutually beneficial trade partnerships. Shea butter is a tiny yellowish or ivory-colored fat extracted from the nut of the African shea tree. It is widely used in cosmetics as a moisturizer, salve or lotion. It is edible and is used in food… preparation in Africa. One problem associated with the use of neat shea butter is its relatively high viscosity (80 mm2/s at 50oC). Possible process for the reduction of viscosity is splitting off of glycerol backbone thorough transesterification. Due to toxicity, methanol is not suggested to use in transesterification of shea butter. In this study, transesterification of shea butter, a highly viscous vegetable oil was carried out to reduce its viscosity, allowing its convective transport at room temperature. The study was aided by describing the kinetic behavior of the transesterification process of the shea butter, in order to facilitate the handling of bioester produced, according to its characteristics of low viscosity to be used in cosmetics application. This laboratory scale study was antecedent to possible industrialization of the bioester production technology. 64 pp. Englisch.
