One of the important water body which lies in the core of India is Upper Lake, Bhopal that provides irrigation… facility, potable water and is also the center of attraction for tourist. Regular soil erosion from the watershed of the Lake resulted in the deposition of sediments further reduction in its capacity. In this study soil erosion from watershed has been assessed utilizing Universal soil loss equation and USPED model and the sediments deposited in the lake had been evaluated using satellite image analysis. The sedimentation occurring per year is 580000 m3 and the volume of soil deposited come out to be 355855 m3. From this we observe that sedimentation occurs due to soil erosion is around 69.8 %. Various Conservative measures have been also discussed. Drinking water supplied by Upper Lake Bhopal is 140000 m3 of water daily which is 40% of the total water supply in the city. If we can reduce the sedimentation in the Upper Lake it can fulfil the needs of the Local public.

This dissertation analyses the variety of positions of selected CARICOM Member States through the lens of realism and constructivism to attempt to explain what factors are influencing the States in question. Some States have supported a strong CARICOM position while others have weakened CARICOM's collective position as an international organisation. The findings suggest that CARICOM provides a forum for states to affirm their Caribbean identity while ensuring mutually beneficial trade partnerships. Handoff is the main feature of dynamic spectrum allotment policy. Also, it has been observed that multiple handoffs may degrade the service quality given to the unlicensed users. For that reason, different optimization methods may be applied for achieving the best possible spectrum allotment during handover so that the better quality of service can be given to the cognitive users with the simultaneous improvement in spectrum utilization. The handoff procedure can be pro-active or reactive type. Pro-active mainly deals with the beforehand preparation of the set of the target channels, while reactive handoff is on-demand approach.
