McKenzie and conventional were given for 6 session. Data was documented pre and post treatment which was analyzed using paired and unpaired ¿t¿ test. Results concluded that both groups were statistically significant on decreasing acromion to plinth distance, reducing the pain intensity, increasing cervical mobility. However, McKenzie exercises group showed statistically significant change in pectoralis minor length but, there was statistical non-significant change of pectoralis minor length in conventional exercise group.

The paper examined the relationship between the extent of exposure to social media and the English writing proficiency of Grade 11 learners of Quezon National High School. Using the descriptive research design, data were collected using the self-administered survey questionnaire and analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics. The results reveal that the respondents demonstrated an average extent of exposure to social media when grouped according to their demographic profiles and an internet connection and were average in their English writing proficiency level. The results also established a slight positive significant relationship between exposure to social media and English writing proficiency. Generally, the paper validates how social media exposure influences English writing proficiency as intervened by the academic language education. 80 pp. Englisch.

This study developed a correlation that could predict the formation fracture pressure in the Niger Delta deep offshore field. Two different fields were considered for this model named Field 1 and 2. From these fields, fracture pressure data were gotten from 21 wells during leak off test (LOT) at different casing shoe depths. While carrying-out the analysis of data, assumptions were made that the formations throughout the Niger Delta basin obeys the principle of horizontality. The main objective of this study was to identify associated risk factors affecting the progression of patients in Gondar Referral Hospital. In this longitudinal count data analysis, data was collected from 337 epileptic seizure patients registered for treatment from January 1, 2016 to April 30, 2018 in the Hospital and Poisson, Poisson-gamma, Poisson-Normal and Poisson-Gamma-Normal models were applied to the data. Poisson-Gamma-Normal model with random intercept was selected as a best model to fit the data based on different model selection criteria. The findings of the study revealed that time, brain injury, treatment, interaction of time with residence and interaction of time with brain injury were significant factors for epileptic seizure of the patients. Minimization of epileptic seizure of patients in response to treatment was observed, which means the patients were at decreased epileptic seizure when enrolled for treatment. 52 pp. Englisch.

The synthesized compounds were characterized by using NMR, FT-IR spectroscopic technique to confirm the chemical structures. In addition, DFT analyzes of these compounds were carried out with the GAUSSIAN 03 quantum chemistry program-package.the 1H and 13C chemical shift values were determined. Molecular electrostatic potential (MEP) surfaces and fukui functions were calculated in order to better explain the hydrogen bond formations and possible receptor ligand interactions over the steady-state geometries of the molecules and to show the electrophilic and nucleophilic regions of the molecules. Structural evolutionary optimization techniques are also used to find the optimal bracing design of multi-story steel frames. The advantage of structural evolutionary optimization technique is that it is not based on complex mathematical optimization algorithms and has applied a new method. This study was carried out on 50 prospective biopsies taken from patients with breast tumor. They were divided into control (10 cases) and benign (10 cases) as well as malignant (30 cases) groups. Computer-assisted image analysis cytometry is applied to evaluate the count of positive reactions of AgNORs and cyclin D1, and an integrated optical density (IOD) technique is used to quantify DNA content in the tissues stained by Feulgen stain and to assess the density of cyclin D1 immunoreactivity. 52 pp. Englisch.

The study was based on a questionnaire on the use of expectorant and antitussiv…e syrups. This study included 128 pharmacists and 116 pharmacy technicians from 157 pharmacies operating in the Prishtina region. The answer format included multiple-choice questions, in which participants were asked to choose the most reasonable answer for them in the given list of options. 71.8% of pharmacists claim that naturally occurring syrups acting on the respiratory tract are prescribed by a doctor. Depending on the type of cough antitussive or expectorant prescribed by doctors, pharmacists claim that 82.8% expectorant syrups are prescribed, while 17.2% are antitussive. Syrups with antitussive or expectorant action for children are 100% recommended with plant extracts, and for adults 92.2% with plant extracts and with synthetic substances are recommended 7.8%. Reasons for recommending syrups with natural products by the pharmacist (71.4%) and pharmaceutical technician (81.9%) are due to few side effects. 56 pp. Englisch.

This study determines the effects of different concentrations of seawater application on the physiological growth and proximate mineral contents of these succulent weeds. The planting medium is top soil, and the weeds were subjected to six different sea water treatments. Each treatment was replicated five times using Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD), and the treatment means were compared by Least Significance Differences (LSD) at 5% probability level. The findings suggested that Purslane can be utilized in salt-effected soil and helps reduce the salt element in soil. This plant can become an alternative for a healthy lifestyle due to its good antioxidant and Omega-3 content. 84 pp. Englisch.
