Pages age-toned throughout with expected foxing and light staining consistent with age. Title page present and clear. Binding sound despite cosmetic wear; hinges holding. No loose pages noted. A well-used but honest early 19th-century volume. Condition: Fair to Good (for age) ? structurally sound, cosmetically worn.

Illustrated by engraved portrait frontispiece, 16 engraved title pages, 10 engraved plates, one music notation, and by the author's text illustrations, including 2 pages in marbled colour. A illustrated set of the collected works of the Anglo-Irish cleric and author, Laurence Sterne (1713-61), first published in 1783.
