Therefore, I also want to look at why a speaker could do code-switching when talking about certain topics.Arabic is the most widely spoken language by the six million inhabitants of Lebanon, as article 11 of its Constitution states, 'Arabic is the official national language. A law determines the cases in which the French language may be used.' Due to the fact that Lebanon was under French rule during the first half of the 20th century (1918-1948), French is unsurprisingly used as a second language today. Nevertheless, since 'English is seen as the language of business, technology and communications with the non-Arab world', it is increasingly gaining status in Lebanon and especially among the younger generation. As a consequence, Arabic, French and English are frequently mixed in written and spoken language. When observing Lebanese television, it even seems as if the English-Arabic code-switching is steadily increasing a few years. In contrast to the comparatively abundant research on code-switching between Arabic and English (or any other language), whereby the focus here is often on dialects from greater nations like Egypt, Algeria or Saudi-Arabia, research on code-switching between the dialect of the smallest Arabic nation Lebanon and English is rather limited. However, a milestone in the history of the continent has been placed by Obama's government, which achieved a historical rapprochement with the Cuban government of Castro. Both US and Cuba don't know the ultimate outcome of the normalization process that started during the Obama's administration; nevertheless, they expect to move even more toward a friendly relationship despite the changes in the Cuba-foreign policy in the current times. In order to determine which aspects were crucial for the attainment of this historical event, the most important arguments from the commercial liberalism and the constructivist theory should be examined. On one side it should be analyzed whether some of the structural changes and economic developments brought with the end of the Fidel Castro era had a significant impact on the shift in the U.S foreign policy toward Cuba and favored the resumption of the diplomatic relations with Cuba. Pictures of the bank run went around the world and scratched on the extraordinary reputation of Swiss banks. In contrast to other banks who were bailed out by cantons or acquired by bigger banks, the SLT got liquidated in an expensive process that came to an end after 14 years in 2005. The liquidation capital finally amounted only to roughly 60% of the liabilities and that is why the event remains as a trauma in the minds of the region's people. The collapse of the SLT was the motivation to revise the Swiss banking legislation dating back to the 1930s. It constituted the other comprehensive revision of banking legislation in the last 90 years in Switzerland next to the revision of the too big to fail legislation in the aftermath of the subprime crises and the related UBS bail-out in 2008. Though data for a detailed comparison is not available, this paper will show that real estate prices on a national level faced heavy declines only after 1991. Hence, either the region of Thun experienced higher price declines already in 1991, which cannot be tested, since regional data is not available, or what will be argued, the SLT was mismanaged and thus more vulnerable to the massive interest rate hike by the SNB in 1989 than other (regional) banks.…

Durch meine nunmehr fast siebenjährige Tätigkeit bei einem der größeren freien Träger der Jugendhilfe wurde und werde ich praktisch und durch mein Studium in der Theorie, mit der Trägerstruktur in der Jugendhilfe vermehrt konfrontiert. Die Dynamiken, die durch die verschiedenen Tätigkeitsbereiche der Sozialarbeiter\*innen bei öffentlichen und freien Jugendhilfeträgern entstanden, weckten mein Interesse, mich im Rahmen dieser Arbeit mit diesem brisanten Thema näher zu beschäftigen. Hierbei werde ich auf die Kooperation zwischen der öffentlichen und freien Jugendhilfe eingehen. Ich werde auf die theoretischen und gesetzlichen Grundlagen eingehen sowie kurz einen Abriss über Soziale Dienste und Soziale Dienstleistungen geben. Die Finanzierung von Sozialen Dienstleistungen erläutere ich am Beispiel des Caritasverbandes.Die Zusammenarbeit der öffentlichen und freien Träger der Jugendhilfe betrachte ich entlang der Frage:'Durch welche Bedingungen wird eine gelingende Kooperation von öffentlichen und freien Trägern der Jugendhilfe beeinflusst 'Gleichzeitig möchte ich in dieser Arbeit dem Leser einen Einblick in die administrativen Arbeiten in der vollstationären Jugendhilfe am Beispiel der Tätigkeiten in einer Mutter-Vater-Kind-Einrichtung geben.
