Um die Ausgangslage der Beziehungen beider Staaten zu erläutern war sicherlich VolkmarKellermanns Buch über die Polenpolitik der Weimarer Republik sehr hilfreich, genauso wie für den Beginn der nationalsozialistischen Herrschaft Marie-Luise Reckers, als auch Rainer F. Schmidts Werke hilfreich waren. In der Endphase der Vorkriegszeit werde ich mich neben Schmidt, auch auf Charles Bloch beziehen.
