An extremely handsome set, near fine condition, bound in maroon quarter-leather with grey cloth-covered boards, gilt spine lettering. Very occasional stray external nick, or board extremities lightly bumped; 3 volumes show a moderate spine lean; mild rippling to the front paste-down of one volume. Faint, thin strip of browning around page edges of all volumes, contents otherwise bright & crisp, bindings quite tight.
