The result is a curated collection of over 60 tunes and 150 hymns, including the 196th hymn from the Olney Hymns, a Saturday-evening hymn, and many more beloved pieces. The author has also made some changes to the wording of the hymns, including replacing certain phrases and stanzas with ones the author felt were more desirable. The author's hope is that this book will promote congregational song in the house of God and prove useful to the people to whose use it is dedicated.
