The Mob was an LGBT activist organization formed in Fall 1986 (their estimation on the first page of newsletter, though members had been active in 1985) which used militant tactics to confront religious organizations and Media on the issues of AIDS and acceptance of the LGBT community in media and religion. Bahlman was a member of the GAA (Gay Activist Alliance) and in March 1987 became a co-founder of ACT UP. Only one holding located in OCLC as of 8/2015, as part of the Bahlman collection at the Elihu Burritt Library.
