Farrington which emphasizes the Hawaiian children's cultural diversity, but similarities to children on the mainland. In 80 pages with Hawaiian glossary in rear, lavishly illustrated throughout. This slim hardcover book has bright turquoise-blue cloth covered boards with a colorful front paper pastedown that has a small crayon mark under rainbow & very mild edgewear. Condition is Near Fine: exceptionally clean & bright, binding tight & square, pages creamy white with very mild tanning to outer edges, else unmarked. No DJ. NOT Ex-Library. Charming illustrations. Samuel Lowe was the former president of Whitman Publishing before he founded his own company in Kenosha Wishconsin in 1940.
