This English language edition was printed in Peking (Beijing) Peoples Republic of China. It was translated by Yang Hsien-Yi and Gladys Yang. This is a beautifully made book, with custom end papers printing is pale lime ink with gold flecks, printed on cream stock, approximately 607 pages in a 5.5 x 8.5-inch format. The page opposite the title page is a color, seated portrait of Wu Ching Tzu. The book is illustrated with several yellow and black wood cut prints, including one that folds out, (see listing pics). Plus, a tipped in red ribbon page marker. The book boards are navy blue book cloths with embossed gilt title on cover and spine. The dust jacket is in very good shape with only minor edgewear.
