Sie studierte Kunst…in Washington und New York und arbeite danach für das Time Magazin. 1947 veröffentlichte sie ihr erstes Kinderbuch. Bis ins hohe Alter arbeitete Lili Cassel-Wronker als Illustratorin und Kalligrafin und unterrichtete an einer Kunsthochschule. Ihr »London Diary« ist ein überaus kunst- und liebevoll illustriertes Tagebuch, in dem die damals 15-jährige Lili ihren Aufenthalt in London im Winter 1939/40 festhielt. Aus ihren Beschreibungen und Zeichnungen lässt sich viel über das Leben in London während des Zweiten Weltkriegs erfahren. 32 pp. Deutsch.
