Even age toning and some soiling across the covers, consistent with a hundred-year-old item, and light wear with slight creasing to the cover edges. A period dealer's rubber stamp from a Portland, Oregon music shop sits on the front cover - a retailer's mark, not a library mark. Pencil fingering annotations by a previous owner appear on the music pages, and a faint partial circular stamp impression is visible on one interior page. The music pages themselves are clean and fully legible with no tears, and the staple binding is intact and holding. No library markings of any kind - no spine label, card pocket, date-due slip, barcode, or discard stamp. Toning throughout, as expected.…

Soft cover. Condición: Very Good. This is truly a unique item, and it is in really nice shape, at least the covers. Once listed, it will be the Only original copy for sale anywhere on the Internet. I purchased it a good number of years ago and put it aside. It was enclosed in plastic at the time and I haven't ever opened it. The plastic is sealed, as was the case with another piece of sheet music that I recently listed. Judging from the condition of the covers, I believe it's highly likely that the interior pages (I think there are two ( are in excellent condition. However, if a very serious buyer wants me to cut open the plastic and examine the interior, I will consider it. So all I can say now is that the covers, front and rear, are in remarkable condition, all the more so when you consider that this sheet music was published in 1921. Petrucci Music Library (just Google the title and composer's name to find it) has a description of the sheet music (also a picture of the cover) that I am selling here. It confirms the date, which I can see on the rear cover, and says that there are three pieces 1) Indian Tale, 2) Indian Lament, and Indian Dance. 'Nannie Louise Wright was an American composer, pianist, and teacher born in Fayette, Missouri. She graduated from Howard-Payne Junior College in Fayette and the Columbia School of Music in Chicago, Illinois. Wright studied piano with Mary Wood Chase in Chicago and with Josef Lhévinne in Berlin. She returned to Fayette to become the Director of Music at Howard-Payne College in 1909. Later, she served as President of the Missouri State Music Teachers' Association and as Dean of Music at Central Methodist University's Swinney Conservatory of Music in Fayette.'.…
