Daughter of Tibet contains eight photographic plates and two maps. The Expedition on HMS Dido contains fourteen plates, some of which are folding. Narrative of an Expedition contains a frontispiece, four further colour and black-and-white plates and a folding map. An Empire of Ice contains eight double-sided photographic plates. Texts without plates instead contain in-text illustrations. Collated, complete. In the publisher's original cloth bindings. Dust wrappers to A Voyage Towards the South Pole and A River Running West are clipped; The Expedition on HMS Dido does not have a dust wrapper; all other dust wrappers are unclipped. Externally, lovely condition with only very slight bumping and rubbing and the odd mark to most volumes. Dust wrappers suffer marginally more from marking and a few very minor closed tears to spines and edges. Internally, firmly bound. Very bright and clean collection with next to no spotting throughout. Near Fine. book.
