Josef Willomitzer 1849 in Bensen (Nordböhmen) geboren; gestorben 1900; ab 1889 Chefredakteur der Prager "Bohemia". Besuchte das Gymnasium in Eger. Ab 1869 arbeitete er in der Redaktion des Blattes Bohemia, 1877 war er zusammen mit Josef Walter Chefredakteur, ab 1888 leitete er die Zeitung. Er beteiligte sich aktiv am gesellschaftlichen und politischen Leben in Prag. Gehörte zur Strömung des deutschen liberalen Nationalismus und war Mitglied des Vereins deutscher Schriftsteller Concordia. Auch beteiligte er sich auch an der Tätigkeit des Cabarets Orpheus. Er war führender Verfasser humoristischer Texte, am Theater in Prag wurden drei seiner kürzeren Texte gespielt Sprache: Deutsch Gewicht in Gramm: 400.
