Staplebound paperback with yellow tassled string, original textured ivory, gold and violet pictorial covers, 5x7 inches, 42 pp, illustrated with frontispiece. Very good. Covers lightly age tanned, rubbed along edges with a few approximately 1/8th inch nicks and a 1/2 x 2 inch drop mark on lower corner of rear cover. Internally, a bit of the drop mark visible on last few leaves, previous owner's small name and address label on title page, another previous owner's rubber name and address stamp on inside front cover, paper lightly age yellowed, otherwise tight, clean, paper crisp, unmarked. Inspirational poetry, mostly based on Bible verses, with a brief autobiographical sketch at the end, noting that the author was about to go to China as a missionary. On the last page is a rubber stamp stating that the book was published as a surprise by a friend, and a printed notice that additional copies were available at the Biopa Bookstore in Philadelphia.
