Three vintage studio still photographs and three vintage reference photographs from the 1956 film, all six showing actress Marilyn Monroe. Annotations in manuscript ink and pencil on the verso, and two with provenance stamps and labels on the same. Of particular note is a photograph of a large-scale bus advertisement for the fil…m's premiere at Grauman's Chinese Theatre, showing Monroe stretched across the top of a Metro Bus in Los Angeles. Based on the 1955 play by William Inge, about a cowboy who attempts to force his romantic interest, a saloon singer, to marry him and live together in Montana. Shot on location in Arizona, Idaho, and California. 10 x 8 inches. Very Good plus to Very Good, three with ink annotations on the recto margins.
