Textured, twice-stapled, tan card covers with red-and-black lettering, and crest of the City of Fergus to the centre of the front cover. One in-text map, and one remarkably well-preserved fold-out map of the town affixed to verso rear cover (measuring 13.5" x 8.5"). Charming illustrated colour vignettes throughout. Booklet as produced by the Fergus Chamber of Commerce promoting the town and its various amenities to prospective businesses, individuals and families. Comprises of a brief historical sketch of the town, demographic data, its various industrial sites and town plans, details of its transportation and communication networks, a list of the various industries present in the town, an overview of the town's schools, churches, and public buildings, etc. Bright, clean, and unmarked. Rare in commerce. Unrecorded in OCLC. Not found in Fisher, BAC/LAC, etc. "This brochure will supply much of the information about Fergus, which is being asked frequently nowadays, as this town becomes more widely known as "An Ideal Place to Live and Work".
