Softcover. Condición: Good. First Edition. A perfectly serviceable reference copy; nothing fancy, but complete and sturdy. No publication date, but presumably 1957. Light wear to illustrated heavy card stock wraps, in gate-fold, some learned pencil marks here and there, quite helpful. 24 pp., plentiful full-color tipped-in plates, long essay by the author, big, double-column texts. This volume is part of The Faber Gallery of Oriental Art, covering East Asia, South Asia, and Island Southeast Asia and including Rajput art, Buddhist art, Japanese art, Persian, Mughal and other art traditions.Member, I.O.B.A., C.B.A., and adherent to the highest ethical standards. Cloth Bound Hardback. Condición: Good. First Edition. In blue green cloth with gilt titles to spine. No dust jacket. 95pp. with 24 full-page illustrations, some in colour. There is some shelf wear to the extremities of the cover and the spine has been neatly reinforced with clear tape and has a library label. There is a small dent to the bottom of the front cover. There is a library plate and various other labels and stamps to the front paste down. There is slight offsetting to the feps and the frontispiece tissue guard is creased. Otherwise the pages of the book are clean and unmarked.
