Paper Booklet. Condición: Fair/vintage. No Dust Jacket. Paper is aged and vintage, has ages spots, and is somewhat honey toned thru-out. There is prevous owner name stamp, and book store stamp. 16 pages including covers. Fair conditon, but firmly readable. About the author: Frederick Gary Allen (August 2, 1936 - November 29, 198…6) was an American conservative writer and conspiracy theorist. Allen promoted the notion that international banking and politics control domestic decisions, taking them out of elected officials' hands. He was a prominent member of Robert W. Welch, Jr.'s John Birch Society, of which he was a spokesman. He contributed to magazines such as Conservative Digest and American Opinion magazine from 1964. He also was the speech writer for George Wallace, the former governor of Alabama, during his segregationist third-party presidential bid in the 1968 U.S. presidential election against Richard M. Nixon and Hubert H. Humphrey. He was an advisor to the conservative Texas millionaire Nelson Bunker Hunt. Investigative reporter Chip Berlet argues that Allen's work provides an example of a synthesis of right-wing populism and conspiracism, a blend of ideas known as producerism. Softcover. Condición: Fine. Magazine. (10)pp. Single sheets printed both sides, except for final sheet, and secured with a staple. Fine with the address for City Lights Bookshop crossed out and another handwritten underneath, as issued. An influential mimeograph published by Jones and di Prima featuring some of the most importan…t poets of the 20th Century. Unlike other magazines, this so-called "newsletter" was distributed via a mailing list, many of which were noted poets, journalists, critics, publishers and artists. For this reason, most copies were hand addressed or affixed with a mailing label and stamp, and folded for mailing. This copy is remarkably pristine with no writing, stamp, or label. The issue features contributions from Lew Welch, Richard Baker, Dale Landers, Robert Creeley, and A.B. Spellman.
