Añadir al carritoHardcover. Condición: Near Fine. No Jacket. Complete set of this extremely scarce modern edition of the works of E. A. Poe, published from 1969 to 1997. Thomas Ollive Mabbott edited the Poems and the Tales and Sketches for Harvard UP but died in 1968. In 1981, Twayne published The Imaginary Voyages edited by Burton Pollin (Volume 1 of the Collected Writings). Volumes 2-5 of The Collected Writings, also edited by Pollin were published 1985-1997 by The Gordian Press. The 2 Volume edition of the Letters, edited by John Ward Ostrom is present here in the 1966 Gordian Press Reissue with a new introduction and a supplementary chapter. Also included is Word Index to Poes Fiction, edited by Burton R. Pollin, Gordian Press 1982 and Selections from the Critical Writings of E. A. Poe, edited by F. C. Prescott, published by Gordian Press, 1981 with a new preface and a new Introduction. This is a unique collection. Books are in excellent, mostly unused condition. The Imaginary Voyages volume has a Harvard UP blindstamp to the titlepage. The Dustwrappers of the Harvard UP volumes show some wear, the other volumes were published without dustwrappers. No other markings. An indispensable set for the Poe scholar.
