Añadir al carritoHardcover. Condición: Good+. 1st ed. ex-University College London but only their square stamps bottom t.p.'s, 1st 2 vols have sm.personal stamp of G.H.Starling top fr. free endpaper, Vol.6 has his sm.pencilled sig. Internally clean & tight & have found no other internal markings (but obviously have not scrutinised every page!). Covers with brown cloth spine and grey boards are generally quite clean, some sp.labels seriously rubbed, sp.ends Vols 1 & 2 rubbed w.sl.top chipping; sm dent sp.Vol.3; fr. joint rubbed by sp.label Vol.4; nick top sp.Vol.5; rubbing top sp.& chafing to beck joint by sp.label, Vol.6; 2 nicks top sp.Vol.7; Vols 8 & 9 not significantly worn. Ward & Rivers co-edited Vols 1-3, Rivers & Myers Vols.4-5, Myers alone thereafter. Vol.2 inc. James Fraser's copiously illustrated 'New Visual Illusion of Direction' introducing a 'spiral illusion' and apparent distortions of a circle. Also included reports of B.P.S. meetings etc. Despite minor cover faults an excellent and still attractive set, one may though regret absence of bound-in orig. covers. Nett weight is c. 9.2 kg so allow for substantial, if slightly negotiable, postage.…
