This is an annotated edition by Wang Guowei ??? of the Shuijing Zhu ???, a classical Chinese geographical text written by Li Daoyuan ??? during the Northern Wei Dynasty. Li Daoyuan, commenting on the ancient Han Dynasty Shuijing or Water Classic detailing China's rivers and their histories, developed the original into a far more detailed masterpiece, blending geography, history, and literature. The original Water Classic is attributed to Sang Qin ?? of the Han Dynasty.
