Añadir al carritoSoftcover. Condición: Very Good. Later edition (see below). Slim 24mo. 45, [3] pp. Stapled wrappers. Cheap paper coned, spine and about a third of the text with a tiny tear in the gutter, and a bit of spotting on the opening page spread, a very good or better copy with the paper supple. An interesting guide to both New York City… and one's health, issued by Dr. William A. Walker, who practiced at 142 E. 34th Street, between Lexington and Third Avenue. Most rectos print information about the city, and versos print information about blood disease, the difference between healthy and unhealthy urine, diathermy, blood pressure, kidneys, hemorrhoids and rectal disease, etc. etc. *OCLC* locates a couple of copies with 1936 and 1937 calendars on the lower wrap; our copy has calendars for all of 1937 and the first six months of 1938. All editions appear to be very uncommon. A nice piece of New York City medical history.
