The ZMC-2 (Zeppelin Metal Clad) was the world's first and only metalclad airship, constructed for the US Navy between 1927 and 1929 by the Detroit Aircraft Corporation and in service until 1941. The 16 page introduction is a great short history of the men involved in its creation. Truly a labor of love and very well done. Laid in is an article from The Detroit News date Jan 3, 1997 titled: Zeppelin's comeback is no flight of fancy by Terrence Perry.
