Exceptionally Rare and unusual title, in fact, when this was listed, it was the only copy available on the net! Not just from this year, I mean from this entire school's history! Furthermore, this is the VERY FIRST Year Book from this student body! The total number of the four high school classes (Classes of 1922, 1923, 1924, & 1925), the facutly, and the administration is 198 people. Which would mean that if every last person purchased one of these, there were fewer than 200 copies of this book in existance when it was initially published. However, when you factor in sibling classmates, faculty children in the student body, and this area's overall blue collar (essentials only, Bills & Food First) employment base, probably far less then half of that amount were actually ordered or bought. This copy has the neat and legible signatures of 31 of the 32 senior students, and 9 of the 10 teachers in this school at this date. The PO names signed on the fc are Martha & Marietta Huff (twins in the senior class). SC book has brown butcher paper wrapper style covers that conceal staples holding this book together. Black font, borders, stylized meteor illustration, and class logo on fc. Overall GOOD + Shape, barely any shelf wear and rubbing to covers, both font and paper are still bright, displays quite well. Corners and spine ends very lightly bumped, some wear and chipping at bottom of spine edge, lower 4" of spine split on rc spine edge, but still attached to fc. FC has been opened too far, and pulled away from main binding glue at spine, still attached. Tiny insect damage hole on upper right fc corner, otherwise very tight, clean, square, not foxed in any way, does have a musty odor, but does not have missing, soiled, damaged, or repaired pages. No DJ as issued. Great local history research tool for the geneologist or other history buff! Lists, all four high school classes, teachers, administration, clubs, teams, events, plenty of local business adds, and more! All profusely illustrated with clear B&W photos. Interesting sidenote, the influx in population into the area due to post war and pre depression jobs in the timber, furniture, oil, and other businesses is clearly reflected in the size of each of the four classes.
