All other p…ages are clean and unmarked. NO foxing. Illustrated by W. Thomas Smith with several plates, including a tissue-guarded frontispiece. Original brown cloth is beautifully decorated in blue, black and gold. All gilt is still bright and shiny. Attractive pictorial, embossed cover is only slightly rubbed. Front cover shows a sailor-boy pointing his pistol at a mountain lion. Green patterned endpapers, mildly age-toned.
